§ 1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device while you use the Site. Among other things, they keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and help keep the Site secure.

This Cookie Policy supplements the Privacy Policy. We use cookies on the basis of Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 and, as far as personal data is concerned, the GDPR.
§ 2. Who operates the Site
The Site is operated, and cookies are placed, by Tomasz Synowski, trading as FTC Tomasz Synowski, Polish tax identification number (NIP) 8842614103, contact: kontakt@budujpc.pl. Full details are in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
§ 3. Strictly necessary cookies (currently the only ones we use)

The Site currently uses strictly necessary cookies only — the ones it needs to provide the service properly. Under Article 399(3) of the Electronic Communications Law these do not require your consent, because they are necessary to deliver the service you asked for, such as signing in.

§ 4. Browser storage (sessionStorage)

Separately from cookies, the Site stores technical information in your browser's session storage (
sessionStorage) where a feature you asked for requires it — in particular the parameters you entered in the configurator, such as budget, intended use and component preferences, together with the resulting build, so that they survive as you move between pages of the Site. -
This information serves only to deliver the service you requested — generating and displaying recommendations. It is not used to track you, and your browser deletes it automatically when you close the tab or window. As storage necessary to provide a service you requested, it does not require consent (Article 399(3) of the Electronic Communications Law).

Once the consent banner is activated (see § 5), your consent choices will be stored in your browser's persistent storage (
localStorage) — solely as the information needed to honour that choice.
§ 5. Analytics and marketing cookies (planned — NOT IN USE at present)

The Site uses no analytics, statistical or marketing cookies, and no third‑party tracking tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.

Cookieless statistics. The Site uses our own self‑hosted statistics tool, which works without cookies: it saves no cookies and no other information on your device, and collects nothing that could identify a person. It gathers only aggregated, anonymous visit statistics such as page views, country and device type. Because nothing is stored on, or read from, your device, these statistics do not require the consent referred to in Article 399(1) of the Electronic Communications Law. Section 4.5 of the Privacy Policy has the details.

If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in future: a) they will run only after you have given consent through the consent banner (an opt‑in mechanism), in line with Article 399(1) of the Electronic Communications Law and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; b) you will be able to withdraw that consent and change your settings at any time; c) the table below will be filled in with the name, purpose, provider and retention period of each cookie.

§ 6. Third parties

Some strictly necessary cookies may be set by the CDN and security provider that serves the Site, for security and performance purposes.

Once you move to an external shop's website — after clicking a link, for example — that site's cookies, and those of any affiliate network, are governed by those parties' own privacy and cookie policies, over which we have no control.
§ 7. Managing cookies

You can manage cookies yourself from your browser settings, including blocking and deleting them. How you do that differs from browser to browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and others).

Restricting or blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the Site working properly, and in particular may prevent you from signing in.
§ 8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
