That's a fair question. BudujPC earns money through affiliate partnerships with online stores, but those partnerships do not influence our recommendations. We don't promote more expensive products, specific brands, or particular stores. Recommendations are based on technical specifications, performance, compatibility, price, and availability — nothing else. Manufacturers and stores cannot pay for better placement, and we have no plans to introduce such an option.

Because researching PC parts takes time. Instead of comparing dozens of reviews, benchmarks, videos, and forum discussions, you get ready-to-buy PC configurations built using current pricing and technical data. If you'd rather choose every component yourself, you can switch to the advanced configurator. We'll continue checking compatibility as you build.

Every component in our database includes detailed technical specifications. For CPUs and graphics cards, we also use performance data from Blender Open Data alongside our own gaming performance score based on the hardware specifications. Using that information, BudujPC looks for the configuration that delivers the best possible performance within your budget while keeping every component compatible with the rest of the system.

No. No manufacturer or store can pay to make their products rank higher. No such option exists.

BudujPC participates in affiliate programs with selected stores. If you visit a store through one of our links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. You never pay anything extra, and affiliate commissions never affect our recommendations or the order in which products are shown.

Not necessarily. Your budget is treated as a maximum, not a target. If spending a little more within that limit results in a noticeably faster PC, we'll recommend it. If there isn't a meaningful upgrade available within your budget, we'll leave part of it unspent rather than recommend poor value.

Recommendations are based on performance, technical specifications, price, availability, compatibility, and any preferences you've selected in the configurator. If you limit your search to a specific manufacturer, only products from that manufacturer will be considered. You can also adjust the requirements for individual components and recalculate the configuration at any time.

Because different versions of the same GPU usually perform almost identically. Rather than spending extra on cosmetic differences or minor factory overclocks, we'd rather use that budget where it makes a real difference to the overall system.

Yes. You can choose your preferred manufacturer for the CPU, graphics card, motherboard, memory, storage, case, CPU cooler, and power supply.

Yes. Click "Edit" to open the configuration in the advanced configurator, where you can replace any component. After every change, BudujPC checks the compatibility of the entire build again.

We compare the specifications of every component against roughly thirty compatibility rules. The processor has to fit the motherboard, the memory has to fit the motherboard and clear the cooler, the cooler and the graphics card have to fit the case, and the power supply needs both the headroom and the right connectors. If the required information isn't available for a product, we'll tell you instead of making assumptions.

We do everything we can to detect incompatibilities, but no automated system can guarantee every possible PC configuration. Sometimes manufacturers simply don't publish enough information. If you order a PC with an assembly service, the store is responsible for building it correctly. If you're buying the parts yourself, the final verification is your responsibility.

By default, we only show components that are compatible with your current configuration. If you'd like to see everything, enable "Show incompatible". You'll also see why each incompatible component doesn't fit.

We generate one configuration for each supported store, plus a mixed configuration that combines the best-priced components from multiple stores. This makes it easy to compare the convenience of buying everything from one store against the savings of buying across several.

A single-store build lets you order everything from one place. That usually means one shipment and, in some stores, the option to have the PC assembled before delivery. A mixed build chooses each component from the store offering the best current price. This often delivers better performance for the same budget, but requires multiple orders and self-assembly.

Yes. Enable "Assembly by the store" and we'll only show stores that offer a PC assembly service. Mixed builds aren't eligible because their components come from multiple stores.

Yes. In the advanced configurator you can mark existing components as your own and enter their specifications. BudujPC will recommend compatible upgrades around them. If you don't know a particular specification, simply choose "I don't know". We won't guess.

Our database only includes products available from supported stores, so it doesn't contain every component on the market. You can choose a similar model or add your own component and enter its specifications manually.

We only list products from supported stores and only when we have enough technical information to verify compatibility. If key specifications are missing, the product won't appear in the results.

Product prices, availability, and technical information are updated four times a day across all supported stores. Blender Open Data results are refreshed about once a week because they change far less frequently than retail pricing.
