How we work it out
For each budget we assemble three builds from the same catalog. The first buys everything in one store — whichever store fits the whole machine in for the least money. The other two take each part from whichever store has it cheapest.
The build in the second column has to match the first before we count anything. It can't have a slower processor or graphics card, less memory, a smaller drive, or a drive on a slower bus. That column is a price difference and nothing else.
The last column cuts the price further and gives up some performance for it. Each entry says which part is slower and by how much — without that, the difference would look like it came from shopping across stores alone. At some budgets there's no such build, and the cell is a dash.
Prices come from the stores and we refresh them four times a day, so the table shows where things stand today rather than on the day someone wrote the page. The case, cooler and power supply often differ between the builds — the comparison covers performance and capacity, not every part one by one.
What the difference doesn't cover
Buying across stores means several deliveries, and splitting the order gives up the assembly service some stores offer on a complete build. Against a few hundred złoty that's a detail; against a few dozen it isn't.
So we only show the multi-store build when the difference is big enough to cover those inconveniences with room to spare. At some budgets there's no such build, and we say so rather than pad the table.
